Presentation Night: Our presentation night held in a packed Loughmore Community Centre on Friday night last was a terrific occasion for one and all. Championship medals were presented to our U/14 Mid and League champions, U/16 Mid football ,Minor Mid and County hurling and Mid football with Mid medals going to our U/21 A footballers and senior footballers.
All the winning captains were introduced with their cups and trophies, including Scor na nOg All Ireland winners, senior Scor County champions in question time and solo song. Highlight of the night was the introduction of Noel McGrath with his All Star and Young Hurler of the Year awards, where he received a standing ovation from the crowd.
U/14 medals were presented by Noel McGrath and U/16 by Michael Webster. Pat Cullen presented U/21, Sean Mockler senior football and Joe Grady presented the minor hurlers with the Mid and County A medals. Speakers on the night were Mid chairman senior board Matty Ryan, and juvenile board Joe Kennedy. Our development chairman Jimmy Hennessy and fund raising chairman Eamon Sweeney and Parish Priest Fr. Corbett addressed the congregation. Dick Egan, club chairman on behalf of the club made a presentation to Noel McGrath in recognition of his achievements during 2009.
No words could describe the fantastic sit down meal provided by the ladies on the night with variety and plenty of it. For everyone in attendance our sincere thanks to each and everyone.
Prize Winners: Jimmy Hennessy, Whitefield, a first prize winner of 15,000 euro in the December draw and John Fogarty, Killahara also a prize winner were presented with their cheques on the night. Music was provided by local musicians John Joe and Kathleen Nesbitt and their helpers. The County Board Draw for January was then held, however we had no local winner on the night.
Scor na nOg: Congratulations to our question time team of Niamh Ryan, Padraic and Joseph Hennessy who on Saturday night last in Cappamore qualified for the Munster final in Mallow on Sunday 31st. Well done to all.
Juvenile A.G.M. The A.G.M. of the club will be held in Castleiney Hall on this Thursday night at 8.00pm. We expect a large attendance of parents at this important meeting.

Senior Club A.G.M.; The A.G.M. of the club will take place in Castleiney Hall at 8.15pm on this Saturday night. Mass for deceased members will be held at 6.30pm in Castleiney Church.
A large turnout of players is requested on the night where a lot of important work has to be done.
