Senior Hurling League:  On Sunday last in the blistering heat of a Templetuohy venue our senior hurlers matched their previous week’s scoring spree, this time with a 5-20 to 1-14 victory over Kildangan in division one County league.
A whirlwind start that yielded 1-04 within seven minutes laid the foundation for this victory and while we are not foolish enough to believe that championship fare will come as easy it was nonetheless a pretty good performance overall from the team.
Our thanks to the Templetuohy club for the use of their excellent facilities for this game.  Our remaining games in this competition are v J K Brackens and Portroe, games we must win to reach the final.

Fixture Schedule:  Presently we have to focus on the senior football open draw replay game v Clonmel Commercials whish is fixed for Tuesday evening June 1st.  Training on this Wednesday and Friday night is most important for every player to attend.
We then have two hurling games v J K Brackens and Upperchurch in the Mid championship.

Best of Luck:  We wish Noel McGrath the very best of luck in Cork on Sunday next.

Sympathy:  On behalf of the senior and juvenile club we extend our sympathy to the O’ Dwyer family, Lisheenataggart on the passing of a great supporter Johnny over the weekend.  His son Patrick was a previous sponsor of the club.  Also to the Cowan family, Templetuohy and Borrisoleigh on the passing of Michael, who wore the club colours in the sixties when we were amalgamated in minor and U/21 with Templetuohy.  May they Rest in Peace.

U/21A Hurling:  On Saturday evening last at The Ragg our U/21A hurlers had a facile victory over Upperchurch on the score 3-21 to 0-12.
Having led 1-08 to 0-07 at the interval they put in an outstanding second half performance, taking some excellent scores on the way to qualify for the Mid semi final.

Senior Hurling:  On Sunday morning last our senior hurlers travelled to Lorrha to face the home side in the County league division one game.  Despite fielding without some of our regular players we ran our 5-20 to 1-13 winners.
This gives us three wins from four games, with games v Kildangan, Portroe and J K Brackens yet to be played.

Fixtures:  On Sunday next we face Kildangan in the County league game.  This fixture will take place in Templetuohy at 12.00 noon.  All panel to attend for this vital game before championship.

County Board Draw:  There is a final chance for anyone wishing to join this great draw with its extension date to this Friday night 21st May.

Juvenile Club:  Our U/12 footballers had an epic encounter with Boherlahan in the Mid semi final with the sides level after normal and extra time.
However in the replay we lost narrowly to a stronger Boherlahan side.  Again this was an excellent game and we say well done to all.

U/16 Football:  In the Mid semi final this team made an excellent recovery, having trailed 1-08 to 0-02 to Gortnahoe at one stage to run out two point victors.
On Monday evening last they faced J K Brackens in the Mid final in Templetuohy and despite a gallant effort they were defeated 2-06 to 0-07 by the Templemore boys who we wish well in the County semi final.

Minor Football:  On Thursday evening last in Templemore our minor A footballers qualified for the Mid final with a hard fought 1-12 to 1-10 victory over a very strong Sarsfields side.
At the end of a mixed first half performance we trailed 1-03 to 0-07 at the interval.  A better second half display emerged and some fine scores put us ahead.  A Sarsfields goal near the finish edged them in front, however we finished strongly with three fine points for a deserved victory and a Mid final v Moycarkey awaits.
