U/21 Football: On Sunday afternoon last in snow covered conditions in Templetuohy our second round group game v J K Brackens ended all square on a 0-13 to 2-07 scoreline.

As stated, ground conditions were not suitable for good football but both sides gave it their all in a close fought game. This result now puts us into the semi finals and it must be said that a huge improvement is required if we are to make progress in this competition.

Buster Draw: All tickets to be returned to Tom McGrath before Friday night.

Training: Training has now stepped up and with the championship only eight weeks away all players are asked to attend on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. To be on time for training is most important as it will commence on time and finish on time to be fair to players who have to travel distances.

Scor Sinsir: On Friday night last in Moyne hall we took part in solo song and question time. However we failed to qualify for County finals. We thank our competitors for their effort. With the quiz team members having achieved four Mid titles, three County titles and reaching two Munster finals in recent years it is perhaps a fine achievement overall.
