Club Night Presentation
A club presentation in conjunction with the juvenile club will take place in Loughmore Parish Centre on December 27th 2009. Medals for Senior , U21 , Minor, U16 and U14 will be presented on the night
Finances
Please note that all outstanding monies for tickets, Co. Board Draw and membership must be settled with Tom Mc Grath urgently, as convention is fixed for Friday 15th January 2010 in Castleiney Hall at 7.30pm Sharp. It is important to note that non paid up members cannot participate in any voting or proposals on the night. Draw promoters are asked to make sure all draw monies are collected and given to the Treasurer as soon as possible
Buster Draw
The club will be holding a buster draw (720 Tickets) at €10.00 per ticket over the coming weeks with the draw fixed for January 29th 2010 with €2000.00 in prizes
Congratulations
Congratulations to Jimmy Hennessy Whitefield who won first prize of a car or €15.000 in the Co. Board draw for December and to Michael Connolly Barronstown on winning €600.00 in the same draw
Scor na nOg
The club hosted the Mid Final of Scor na nOg on Saturday 5th December in Loughmore Hall with a packed attendance present. With the standards pretty high on the night an excellent nights entertainment was had by all.
Our current Mid, County, Munster and all Ireland winners of 2008 retained their Mid Title in Trath na gCeist with full marks. We also had runner’s up in solo song and instrumental music who now go forward also to Co. Final to be held in Cashel on Friday 11th December. We Congratulate them and wish them every success in the Co. Final. We say well done and hard luck to all our other participants and thank the Scor committee for their organisation. To Roisin Maher who was an excellent MC on the night and all the stewards inside and outside who all did an excellent job. Well done.
Mid Photographic Book
Volume 2 of the photographic history book is now available and everyone who purchased volume 1 on producing receipt can have same from place of purchase
Patron books are available from Tom Mc Grath. We congratulate Martin Bourke and all his helpers on an excallent but difficult venture and thank all our club members who worked so hard to organise photos etc, especially Taffy and Paul Mc Grath who set up the computer system.
